I'm not a butterfinger fan, but I like the chocolate heath blizzard.

Maybe it's growing up on Superman ice cream, but I usually ask for a trio of smaller (1/3rd or 1/2 per) scoops when I get to a craft ice cream shoppe, something like

Madagascar Vanilla Bean on the bottom, a middle layer of Fresh Basil topped off with Balsamic Strawberry or Blackberry Riesling Sorbet

Although the Signature stuff is really good.

Pet peeve: 1/2 gallons are now around 56 oz.

The Kirkland ice cream bars are better than the Häagen-Dazs they copied.

I love fudgesicles

My all time favorite brand is Petersen's Old Fashioned Ice Cream out of Oak Park. We owned an ice cream shop when i was in HS and we carried Petersen's exclusively.

Breyer's is garbage

Churning ice cream is a pain in the ass. That's why I taught my great grandson how to do it. And now he's teaching his son.

Are you 90 or from Eastern Kentucky?

We buy the gallon buckets of store brand half vanilla half chocolate. My 4 girls eat ice cream like every 3 hours.

I take a bowl of that and put about a quarter cup of Hersey's syrup on it.

It suffices.

I have Klondike bars for that. It satisfies the craving, I have to convince myself that I'm not being a fat pig to have a second one (I have a second one maybe once every 100), and they are only 55 cents each at Walmart. So when I do buy a high quality pint or stop for two scoops at my neighborhood independent, it's planned out as a meal replacement.

I've cut way back on the ice cream the last few months, but when I buy store bought I have found the the Kroger branded "Jammed" series of ice creams are great if you like the Cookie Dough, Butterfinger, or Cookies and Cream styles. They put way more candy and cookies in there than most brands which skimp out and it is cheap. In general I would say my favorite flavors are Cookie Dough and/or Peanut Butter Cups. I get them mixed at Culvers with custard and it is pretty good. I prefer a good Dairy Queen Blizzard more than any other fast food ice cream. Most of all I enjoy keeping ice cream from others. That is where the true enjoyment for me lies. :santa:

Jewels is carrying Tillamook brand now ( thought they just did cheese ? ) and I gotta say it’s fantastic . Best grocery store ice cream I’ve ever had . So good it’s derailed my commitment to excellence that I was so solid on last couple months . Dropped all my Covid weight plus 5 additional . Have put 3 back on since I’ve discovered the ice cream

I was just going to come here to post the same thing. Their Waffle Cone Swirl is excellent. Best store bought I've had.

The Tillamook cream cheese is good also with the Veggie mix on a Wheat Thin - that's livin' right.

Jenni's is hands down the best store bought ice cream I've ever had. Demolishes all competition. For $9 a pint it fucking better.

Being able to afford $9 a pint ice cream is even more privileged than buying 3 Honda’s in 20 years

Nancy Pelosi Ice Cream is really good. I wish I had the freezer. That was always a dream and It's going to remain that way.

I'm going to have to try the Tillamook too.

I've got an almost half gallon of chocolate ice cream with fudge and Reese's bits in the freezer. It's lasted 2.5 months.

I'll try it, especially if I can cut my pop intake.

Edit: because their cheeses are really good

As a kid I loved Daquiri Ice at Baskin Robbins.

I do not eat much ice cream these days. Once per month or so I get a craving so I'll either get a dipped cone from Dairy Queen or a fudge and caramel sundae at Culver's.

To each their own, but that sounded like the most horrifying combination of things you could put into ice cream and still legally sell it.

if you only have ice cream as an occasional indulgence, Dairy Queen is the worst choice. It isn't even real ice cream.
