Someone who eats $28 of Taco Bell for lunch is someone who should not be trusted. Ever. About anything.

Lying about paying $28 for a lunch at Taco Bell to create a fake talking point on that inflation is out of control and getting called out on social media for BS lying is poetic justice to this Fox Business Investment Advisor on air contributor from Chicago. I would never take a financial advice from a person who lies about small things like this as you can imagine he will lie about your investments which will have a greater impact on yourself.

Chipotle is up to $12-$13 for a burrito alone. Toss in a drink and chips and you are close to $20

If you order a 6 pk and a drink that would get you close and I know a couple people that could put down a 6 pk. My order would be about 15 and if I ordered an extra Crunchwrap for later it would put me around 20. I don't do much Mcdonalds and stuff. Couple years ago we stopped and for 4 of us we were close to $40 or so. I budget about $10 per dinner for a family of 4 five or 6 days a week. If I'm going to spend 40 I'd rather spend another 40 and at least get better food at a local restaurant or something.

I went to McDonald's last week for the first time in a while. I ordered 2 McDoubles and 1 small fry. The total was $9 or $10. I couldn't believe it. I remember a McDouble used to be $1 and then $1.50 more recently. Who knows what a small fry costs now. I just thought it was pretty absurd. I could order Chinese takeout and support a local business for a couple bucks more. The Chinese place I go to -- their lunch special (which is plenty of food for both lunch and dinner) might be the same price.

McDonald's is the devil.

maybe not coincidentally, the one by me got rid of the 2 for ___ breakfast sandwiches, the promo had been there seemingly forever but now poof it's gone. And no idc enough to download their app i know that's where all the deals are found

Only thing I get at McDonalds is the large Hot or Iced Coffee which you can get for $0.99 in the McDonalds app on the phone. McDonalds coffee is actually not bad and can be compared Dunkin and regular drip coffee at Starbucks and for $0.99 for any size is a great deal!

it's $24 for a lunch at taco bell in wisconsin. i posted a bitch rant about this a few months ago.

but i can also get $6 lunch at a local bar with better food, so it's not a systemic issue.

Yes, load up something relatively inexpensive with expensive and-ons and it becomes expensive. Also add some queso blanco to the burrito and extra meat and get a large chips with queso blanco and guac, and instead of a large drink ask them to fill up the cup with guac instead of soda and get it through Grubhub and now it’s like $50. Thanks Biden.

So the answer is ordering stuff you don't really want to eat and it will be cheaper. You would make a good replacement for Karine Jean-Pierre!
