Smoked turkey breast sandwich and cole slaw from JD's BBQ in Northbrook. It's really good. Probably the highlight of my week mealwise. Being on a diet sucks.

You sure, its north of Willow. I thought everything north of Willow is northbrook?

Just looked and you're right. Had no idea that was considered Glenview. I guess 20 feet to the north and you're in Northbrook at that point.

I didn't realize there was one in Glenview...that's a hell of a lot closer to work than the Arlington one is.

They make a really good smoked pulled pork.

The brisket is really good too, but not part of my diet.

Went to a place in Glenview the other day. Dickey's Barbecue Pit. Never heard of it before. I thought it was awesome.

There is one in Wheaton. I had brisket, spare ribs, and hot links. It was good, not great.

I've had a turkey sandwich on toasted wheat bread with lettuce and cucumber nearly every weekday for about the past two months now. Maybe thats a little boring, but its fine for me.

Toasting it buys considerably more time before it gets to be time for something/anything else than would plain bread.

Variety is the spice of life. At least try to swap out the lettuce for some sprouts or something?

just had a chicken salad from Potbelly since its the only place that's within 5 minutes walking distance from the office and I'm on a time crunch. Playing hockey at 1:45 so gotta eat early. Potbelly seems to get worse and worse as time goes by. The chicken salad has no taste, but it does have protein (I assume).

Delicious as a corn dog.

They have one in my town. It's just ok and overpriced in my mind. Found a better place locally and haven't looked back since.

I get my smoke on exclusively at Willie Mae's in Springfield, TN.

Toying with the idea of a Thurs-Sun road trip through Nashville to Muscle Shoals AL for some RTJ golf.

Panera - bowl of cream of chicken and wild rice and a half chicken caesar salad.

It's almost as if I have another man inside of me today.

Nah, got it in the paper bowl with a couple of the french baguette rolls. I don't like messing with bread bowls to go.
