we had a speaker come in from american cancer society today. showed a fairly sobering graph from 1985 to 2005 about the rise of obesity. in a lot of states it's 1/3 the adult population...i think they used something like a doug league measurement of height...5'4" or something like that. but the %'s were pretty bad. and of course, if this trend continues...
