I've looked at that as an option...that's a little far for me...there is a Thai place in The Glen that I can get to in about 15 minutes...they're pretty good.

You should try it sometime, it's worth it. You do have to run the gauntlet of shitty intersections around Randhurst.

If I pull it off, I'm more likely to shoot down Palatine Road or cut down Euclid - my office is across the street from Palwaukee airport.

I'm in the business park at Kensington and Wolf, I take Willow past the airport every day from 294. Let's grab beer sometime.

Trying the Burger King Sourdough King sandwich today. Overall not too bad, I think I like the sourdough much better than the regular bun.
It's no Baconator but it's better than anything McDonalds has on the menu with bacon on it.

I had one of those a month or so ago...they're pretty good...which is saying something because I really don't like Burger King...

I tried the sourdough patty melt thing a Culver's a while back and it was completely disappointing...no crispiness to the bread or anything to make it hold up.

Yeah I just had the burger, no fries and just water. It was not bad. I like the Culvers sour dough burger alright but in a taste test would have had the
BK one above it.

The McDonalds Bacon Smokehouse burger is pretty okay.

No breakfast today and I'm having "oh shit I'm leaving for five days, empty the refrigerator" salad for dinner, so a larger lunch.

Stop 1: Two potato cakes from Arby's, with one horsey sauce split between them. $1 Diet Coke float to drink
Stop 2: Grilled chicken sandwich from Chik-Fil-A, Diet Dr. Pepper.

No Hardees up near me. The last one I went to was in Hannibal, MO and it was easily the dirtiest and most disgusting fast food restaurant I had
even stepped foot in. Not sure I could eat there again.

Was in Joliet yesterday. Stopped in for my first Aurelio's pizza.

Pretty good.

They appear to mix some parmesan and cheddar in with their mozzarella. Gives it a little more tang than straight mozzarella.

Good spot. Not cheap, but very good.

Except for those fois gras fries. Blorf.

It actually tasted better than it normally does. Oddly both Big & Little were there, but it was all women on the grill. Even the regular fries didn't have the slightly off putting taste they normally have(I just don't have any desire to try the foie gras fries either.).

The wife always looks at me funny when my sons or I describe it as an upscale fast food place of sorts.

Coom’s Corner in Lockport. Shoutout to the wife for seeing this place. We have time in between playoff games down at Lewis University. I am even in my Bryant shirt as luck would have it, a little 3B connection.

Yesterday was rib tips and hot links from Uncle John's in Homewood. No lunch special on Saturday, so I had to get the regular combo which easily feeds three, so I had tips for dinner last night as well. Picked up another pound of links for the freezer, chopped them into 1 oz chunks so I can take out 2-3 chunks a week for breakfast instead of stopping for McBreakfast.

As a result, today's lunch is just a half a cantaloupe and some cheese.

Is the food actually good, or is it just psuedo-celebrity sports bar?

Pappy’s Smokehouse in St Louis. Hitting Four Hands Brewing afterwards and then in a box for the Cards game. Nice afternoon of insurance planned.

Had Mercadito today. That was the most expensive and underwhelming guacamole I've had.
