Got this for Xmas. I read through the website and instructions but wanted to solicit any other advice possible before starting a batch. Anyone mess with one of these before?

Had it. Made 2 or 3 batches and was actually not terrible pilsner and I know I even screwed it up.

Just tossed it out 2 weeks ago, happy with buying bottles. Had my "make your own " phase.
