chop up loaf of lettuce greens, slice a cucumber without the skin, cut some tomatoes into mini frisbees, tear up a little spinach, chop some broccoli, added rippled carrots and a handful of blueberries. splash some robust italian dressing and my god is a fresh salad fucking GOOD. cost ~$10 and its enough to feed me for about 3 days if i eat nothing else. im gordon ramsey and im pretty hot for an old guy

I don't get the frickin salad kick....I'm 29, grew up on sandwiches, pork chops, meatloaf, pasta,etc....salad was on our table always as a side/app to the meal, I never eat it cause to me it's rabbit food and I'm not a fatass so I don't care about my diet....but I work at an investment firm and almost all of these kids eat salads constantly....it's very strange to me...

i agree its totally weird that what used to be the norm is now called a "fad". us guys in our 30's seem to forget we were raised in the fattest country on the planet, during the fattest decades, and we were told that being obese and out of shape is natural. it isnt. whats a "fad" is the proportions of meat we have been eating since the 70's. humans have ate greens for thousands of years, with the only meat coming sporadically after successful hunt.

even if youre the kind that can eat anything and still be skinny (me), youre probably far from being fit. at least 2 hours of high activity sports a day + 75% plant diet = fucking awesome feeling. i still eat meat, but only once every few days and not a lot of it.

i almost dunked today. im going to do it before winter. its been a goal of mine my whole life, and im fingertips away.
