We're talking labor requirement here. You don't actually have to watch the potatoes boil.

Were you the guy who boiled his potatoes for potato salad for like an hour?

No

I think you are talking about me. I boil them for forty minutes, and it's the best potato salad you will ever eat.

For the record, I can make a terrible thanksgiving dinner in an hour and a half.

I am thankful that Hatchetman is not preparing my Thanksgiving feast this year.

I could make thanksgiving dinner in two hours (not including time bird is in oven).
1. Turkey add salt put in oven. 5 minutes.
2. Stovetop stuffing 5 minutes
3. Peel and boil potatoes, add a pound of butter, mash. 15 minutes
4. Throw several bags frozen veggies in a pot, low heat, add buter 5 minutes.
5. Throw heat and serve rolls in the toaster oven. 5 minutes.
6. Request guest bring cheese or dips
7. Open Cook's sparkling wine

Turkey Dinner Boom under two hour.

Stove top stuffing? Come on Man!

There is a ton that goes into it. We host turkey day every year. Wednesday night, we will start preparing the vegetables, and my wife will make the stuffing (potatoes, Jimmy Dean pork sausage, onions, and sage).

After dinner on Thursday, we make a turkey stock. Friday, we make soup, with rice, and the leftover turkey and veggies.

Blah blah blah blah, I just want to know what your beer schedule will be.

I had to have Thanksgiving at a restaurant last year and it was too depressing for words. I don't say that often.

Headed to the GF's grandma's house on Thanksgiving. I really don't like most of the side dishes there, so I will be making this. At least there's one I will enjoy.

I'm going to spend Thanksgiving with Favre Fan eating nuggets.

You're not really making anything. You're basically combining things that other people made and presenting it in a different form. People grew corn, potatoes, etc. You're living off their work. But, if you want to take credit for it.

Have to disagree here also. I hear you combine a tremendous Thanksgiving dinner.

The act of combining can be done much more quickly. I think you're exaggerating here but I don't understand the point you're trying to make.

Good luck with that plan. Something will pop up with FF. But, hey, bright side is you'll be able to eat his share too.

You'll never be able to compete with the bond that we share.

This year the children are just paying me to stay away from them during the holidays. There were no lawyers involved at all. It's a blessed season.

I have been loading up the fridge, and I'm making a run to Two Brothers tomorrow, to fill two growlers. There is no beer schedule. It's all improv, like jazz.

I could make thanksgiving dinner in two hours (not including time bird is in oven).
1. Turkey add salt put in oven. 5 minutes.
2. Stovetop stuffing 5 minutes
3. Peel and boil potatoes, add a pound of butter, mash. 15 minutes
4. Throw several bags frozen veggies in a pot, low heat, add buter 5 minutes.
5. Throw heat and serve rolls in the toaster oven. 5 minutes.
6. Request guest bring cheese or dips
7. Open Cook's sparkling wine

Turkey Dinner Boom under two hour.

I made mine in 4 minutes at Whole Foods yesterday.

Sadly, this post gets maybe 5% of the recognition it should. It's not "Mingus Dew", "Dexterade", or "Mango Reinhardt" good, but it's good.

I think I'm headed to Half Acre tomorrow. I'm off and need to get out of the house, so the GF can sleep.
