was weird though. so i got stoned again today and drove to the store. meat, onion, breadcrumbs, fried onions, beans, cream of mushroom, iodized salt, cranberry juice for a vodka drink.

meatballs, baked green beans, and instant mashed potatoes. HOLY FUCK DID IT TURN OUT GOOD. and the best part is i wont feel sick from eating it #subwaycardboard

I'm a Johnnie Walker man myself. I'll be the first to admit a high-priced single malt is lost on me. Besides that, my drink is the classic highball better known today as Scotch & soda. I will be the first to acknowledge it's a sin to pour soda water over something like The Macallan or The Balvenie.

Which brings me to the trend of craft cocktails and the snobby assholes that make them. Recently- and more than once- I've been met with a reluctance to give me a Scotch & soda. These bartenders have given me the soda on the side with the implication that my choice of drink is somehow gauche. I didn't order a fucking Scotch with a soda back, you motherfucker. They are also stingy with the ice cubes as if they are protecting the integrity of the drink. This is all rather amusing considering they often have no problem defiling Royal Lochnagar by using it in a $25 Blood & Sand.
