I was looking for something to send to an ex-pat. Would prefer something local like Bari or hell, even Marconi. I poked around Google a bit, but wondered if anyone here had any recommendations?

Easiest thing would just to find a pre-made set, but I'm not averse to going around and grabbing an assortment and FedExing.

Guy I'd be sending it too wasn't really a sports-yakker guy, so wouldn't get the reference.
That's actually not a bad idea though, send someone a bunch of giardiniara in an old shoe.

Pops' cheese curds are good and the seasoned cheese curds take things into a whole other level... Their gyros are OK, that's about it though.

Pop's is some of the worst food I've ever had in my life. Almost as bad as Fox & Hound.

In my current situation I would die for a pop's beef and their weird pepper stuff.

Pops' "weird pepper stuff" is outstanding. Love it! I put it on sandwiches, pizza, add to my cereal, use it to brush my teeth, as a deodorant in the morning, I even put it on my shoes!

I didn't say I did not like it. It is weird because I think they think they have outdone giardinara. That would be incorrect.

Has anyone ever had Bunyons (cue lame pun)? It won giardiniera taste test on Serious Eats, but I guess it's only sold at Whole Foods.

Now if you wear corrective shoes and you got big bunyons,
Toenails smell and look like onions,
Don't doowutchyalike--
Go see a foot doctor tonight!
