It has been awhile since we've had a "classic" IMU thread. Let's snap that.

I'm going to go to Arby's and order a Bacon Beef N Cheddar. Then I'm going to order a Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Then I'm going to transfer the Bacon, Beef and Cheddar into the Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Four meats. Two cheeses.

I will come back with a full review after lunch. And after the bypass surgery.

That sounds way worse than a McGangbang!

A value curly fry or small curly fry will probably be consumed.

The problem is I had Arby's yesterday, and had a large curly fry. Not sure I'm feeling more curly fries. Maybe potato cakes?

Yeah why go to Arby's if you don't get the curly fries.

Arby's is the goods, but you have to have the curly fries.

No way! Potato cakes are a trademark of Arby's. They go great with a Skinwich.

One of my favorite board exchanges went something like this:

Seacrest: there is no greater feeling than the act of forgiveness.
IMU: 2 for $5 beef and cheddars.
Seacrest: the depth of your humanity knows no bounds.

For the last few days & right up to that remark, I'd actually wanted a couple of beef & cheddars (& potato cakes). :|

Remember when they had five roast beefs for $5? I long for those days.

I remember that! lol.

Now they are 2 for $6 though. I've taken advantage of that multiple times in the last couple of weeks.

I take it you're counting the beef as meat?

The Review:

Goddamn. Stomachs cannot properly digest this many things at once. There are movements and noises coming from my belly that would seem to only come from B level sci-fi flicks. "Churning" does not properly describe this.

As I said, it was very salty and fairly messy. And also...very tall. Even when trying to smush it down to get all those flavors to mix up...still pretty large. The taste was decent. I could taste the individual chicken, beef, and ham flavors (though the ham was the most dominant...probably because of how salty it is.). The Swiss and Cheddar went well together, as the two were on different layers of the sandwich. As you'll be able to tell from the photos, I kept the "onion" bun from the top of the Beef N Cheddar, but discarded the bottom bun from that sandwich. As is the case with the McGangBang, you only use 3 pieces of bread.

Quite filling. Working on the curly fries now, but may not be able to finish them.

The heart pain has not set in yet.

edit: (next page has the rest of the photos)

Excellent question. I followed the McGangBang style. And the onion bun on Beef N Cheddars taste delicious. Those are the only two real reasons.
