Its not the health department, and its not municipal. And yes, they are.

If I wanted to use the L to visit any of these which should I visit?

I was thinking Loyalist and RHR (seems to be off brown line)

Any other suggestions? I'm coming out of Uptown/Edgewater

Walk to Little Bad Wolf.

Or take Damen bus to Loyalist from Uptown/Ravenswood. The L isn't as direct.

I'm starting a new job at Rush. I'll try to Loyalist after my first day

It gets pretty busy. Funny enough, a few knobs that visit the Smyth for their prix fixe menu end up going downstairs to Loyalist for a burger because they're still hungry.

Artfully placed whale sperm on house made triscuits doesn't get it done i guess.

I really wish you great success. The menu seems to hit on all counts. The last time I was in Plainfield your then place sadly hadn't opened for the day. I still think about that from time to time.

I can vouch for this, I tried this place on Saturday. The Portage Park Fries (their spin on Texas cheese fries) were nothing special, but the burger was phenomenal.

Harlem & Ogden vicinity in Riverside.

The Irish music was awful, but the burger was terrific.
