My uncle is a BK district manager.

They are selling extremely well in the Chicagoland area. Somehow... It doesn't make sense.

Chain pizzas are super cheap and quick. BK hot dogs aren't appreciably cheaper or quicker than other joints.

no one in their right mind will ever get a chilli cheese dog from BK. Even in places where there are not a lot of options you can go to Sonic orDQ and get one that has to be better than anything BK would do

I made a mistake of buying a chili dog from Sonic because it was a pretzel bun.

For some reason, Sonic has this reputation as decent fast food. It is not.

Sonic has awesome drink specials(non-alcoholic of course). Food is horrible.

DQ 5 buck lunch better than anything else at that price by far. All made fresh including fries and if eating in store you can get your sundae after you eat so it is not melted goo. BIGFAN. No pun intended.

Never said they were. But I am pretty sure they would both do much better with chilli dogs than BK

DQ chilli dogs were real good before they branded DQ. The old ice cream only places had them and they were great. Think they called the old places Brazier shops and they had hamburgers and hot dogs as food options.

Well, my food choices can never again be criticized on this board.

in the early days of college, the only walking distance food place was 7-11. You want bad, get yourself a 7-11 chili dog

I don't think Chicagoans appreciate just how lucky they are in terms of the wide availability of great hot dogs--and terrific street food more broadly.

The hot dogs here in Massachusetts are simply dismal.

Most of the hot dog stands are shuttered. Falafel shops abound though for those who like farting in the office all afternoon.

Sure, but it's still pretty easy to find a good dog in Chicago, especially compared to the rest of the U.S. (except for New York, although I prefer Chicago dogs).

they are made of legumes which the body cannot completely break down so you fart. the body was made for eating hot dogs.

Out of curiosity,I tried both BK dogs a few weeks ago.

They had a Sam's Club quality to them.

Did not taste terrible,but I'm not ordering a second time.
