I dont smoke, so need some help.

Is it regular tobacco and then its the vapor from the steam? Then someone claims it takes out a % of the bad stuff?

So, wat do you get from it? Nicotine?

combustion (fire) creates a lot of the deadly chemicals. vaping is just inhaling some of the less deadly chemicals without the combustion.

the entire concept is so ridiculous I'm tempted to start smoking in protest. a lot of these people are so addicted to nicotine and this is a CHEAP way to get A LOT of nicotine in their system, they don't care how stupid it looks.

And what causes the vapor? Electric shock?

I see these fucking guys handing the damn card to people all over that say "You cant smoke in here" and they pull out this fucking card, I feel like shoving it into their mouth.

Its like farting and telling people, this one just isnt that bad...bend down and take a whiff!

The Vape process consists of a tank (The glass tube portion) and an atomizer within the tank. The atomizer is essentially a coil wrapped around cotton wick, which absorbs the vape juice, allowing the coil to heat the liquid and create vapor.

There is absolutely no tobacco associated with vaping. The vape juice is a mixture of vegetable glycol, propane glyvol, flavorings, and possibly nicotine level of your choice (from 0mg, 3, 6, 10, 20, etc).

somehow they extract nicotine from cheap tobacco leaves grown in china. put it in a liquid solution. battery heats an element creating steam. e cigs were first but have been bypassed by huge vaping wands that you can inhale like 100X the nicotine as a normal cigarette.

Is it safe? Probably not...but certainly better than burning all the tar and shit in cigarettes....but cigarettes are far more delicious in the summer breeze

So when I see a dude sucking on his vape apparati, its because he is sucking out as much nicotine as he can get from a product that has minimal levels v Cigs, or he just likes sucking on stuff?

we went to a restaurant the other day that is right next door to one of these Vaping places, a storefront in a strip mall with big glass windows. we ate our meal and while walking back to the car we looked at this place and i was very shocked at what i saw. The place was completely shrouded in an amazingly thick blanket of smoke, like you literally could not see through to the back of the place it was so thick. they had chocked open the double glass doors out front and the smoke was cascading out into the parking lot like a house on fire, and that is no exaggeration, it was billowing out. People were standing around in there, coming and going in and out like it was no big thing, but it was ridiculous. it must be pretty fucking good to stand around in that smokey store like that.

im not a smoker so the concept of vaping is a bit lost on me, but that looked like a real bad scene to me.

Im nots ure if it's 100X the nicotine but people seemingly rip those things like they are trying to clear a bong (as opposed to a moderate inhale and exhale)

I don't know what to tell you guys but for me it is great. Haven't had a cigarette in a year and fitness level and circulatory system working much better.

I used it to quit. I didnt do the Big VAPE though. I went E Cig for like a month and then quit altogether.

It may or may not have nicotine. I personally use next to none in mine, some people load it up. But 6mg juice, which is relatively low, gives me a headache.

As for the vape shops, weird breed of kids in there. Usually high schoolers or younger kids looking for a place to hang out, being they are too young to do the bars, they just hang and talk about vaping/fuck around with their vaporizers....pretty lame

when vaping first hit a couple years back, we were on the top floor of a building at Michigan and Wacker--which meant the smokers had to take the elevator 30 floors down, pass through security to go out to smoke and then back-in/up.

a few of them started vaping at their desks for their mid-morning smoke break and similarly for their various post-prandial nicotine injections.

as someone who doesn't smoke (other than occasionally out at bars), i much preferred when the smokers could vape in the office and thus would be around more when you were looking for em/trying to get shit done.

any THC vaping gear? should work the same way--or did they have vaping for pot-heads before they rolled it out to the nic-fits?
