Then wake up the next morning and vow to find exciting new topics of conversation that do not involve goats, Harry Caray, or memorable encounters with Ryne Sandberg. You may have thought that you were trapped in a curse during the many decades that passed without a championship. The other problem for me is that I don't really go out of my way to read Vox articles the way I masochistically still do with Gawker/Deadspin stuff. I usually just wait for one of their articles to get ripped apart on Twitter and Yglesias to act befuddled about it.
