If moderators choose to edit posts (this was more of a deletion that wasn't done properly), they will rightly be criticized for consistency. It's the same reason people got shitty with bigfan. There are 1,000 shitty things said on here each day that most wouldn't say to another's face. If you choose to edit/clumsily delete one, you will probably face questions as to why you don't delete them all.
