It’s not terrible. It’s not rice but it’s a decent substitute. As with all things it what you mix into it that matters as far as taste and health.

Agreed. It's not very good as a substitute for plain rice as a side dish. It works quite well with chicken curry though.

This. For instance it has definitely influenced my choice of sub at Potbelly's on a number of occasions.

The biggest way to drop carbs is to essentially remove as much white flour/sugar/starch as possible, which unfortunately is 100% of all tasty foods.

I've lost almost 30 pounds in 3 months thanks to simply eating better. I don't drink regular soda, don't eat any cakes or desserts, never eat pasta, barely eat rice, and load up on veggies, meat, and eggs. Almond milk instead of milk or cream, and splenda instead of sugar. It works.

I ache a lot for pancakes and stuff, but life goes on.

That just encourages restaurants to shrink their portion size like Wendy's.

I'll order 1 instead of 2 or 3 sausage muffins if they remind me how unhealthy they are.

Yes, indeed.

Their menu board's information definitely swung my decision in not only deciding against ordering a "big" but a different sandwhich as well.
