my friend and i were having this discussion and for me "hell awaits" is the one i spin the most. "seasons" is also great, probably my second favorite. "reign" is definitely the most popular and probably the crown jewel.

Hell Awaits is awesome, but it's recording quality / engineering was still very "indie" and I think song-wise they overcomplicated themselves. Reign In Blood saw things get much more simplified.

There were 3 major announcements last month which was the biggest? Jackman appearing in Deadpool 3, Cavill returning as Superman, or Neil Breen announcing his new film is complete?

Man, can he top "Twisted Pair"? the other two don't even begin to register on my radar. i'm still upset john carl beuchler died because i really wanted to see him complete his "troll" re-boot/remake.

I would be happy if he could match Twisted Pair but there's no way he will ever top Fateful Findings. That was his magnum opus.

that's exactly what i said...this can't be her. even the facial structure looks completely different. i can't see any resemblance.

i mean, kelly mcgillis looks old and festively plump. but you can still tell it's her face.

after seeing what saudi arabia did to argentina this morning anything is possible. i would think the americans could beat iran, but berhalter needs to use reyna.

hottest mexican actress will always be salma. maybe dagmara domincyk for a pole.

Yvonne Strahovski is a hot blonde. Maybe not the hottest. If you want to include americans with polish-jewish ancestry, its basically half of hollywood. I always have. Some old people on both sides when I was growing up were a little more hostile to the idea.

And if you’ve actually read the book you could easily argue that it is as much a Cormac film as a Coen brothers film given how little changes were made and how much was directly lifted from the novel, including dialogue.


I do think when it comes to discussing directors like QT -who are known for writing their own stories completely- it’s fair to make a distinction. No need to take offense.

As far as favorite Coen films.. where do I even begin.. ‘Miller’s Crossing’, ‘The Big Lebowski’, ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou’.. so many classic characters, dialogue and stories that it would be hard for me to pick one or even two. ‘Fargo’ and ‘No Country’ are obviously fantastic films as well. Anton, for me, is one of the greatest on screen villains of all time.
