My oldest son is going to have to have a "minor" surgery here as soon as they can get him in. Ran him around today to a doctor, 2 specialists, and a hospital for testing. Shouldn't be anything major but that's the medical position. It's major to him - and to me.

He's a little freaked out about being put under. He's holding up, though. Way better than I would have. But, he would. His whole life he's been through some shit and he's excelling. He doesn't get that from me.

He's about 6-feet tall so I have a hard time calling him "the little guy" anymore. He's got to wait until next Friday, now. They couldn't get him in earlier.
