Got solar panels put on my roof this week. I have 26 panels at 295 watts each while living in a place that gets tons of sunshine. I broke down the price per kwh and it's cheaper than my electric rate and you have to figure electric rates will go up over time.

This guy gets the thread.

Congrats, Hawg. I hope the new place made it worth your while and you left your old place on good terms.

Same industry?

Maybe you can learn how to drive while down here? PSA, the left lane is for 85+ only.

Yes, same industry. Yes, more money and I was glad to get away from my other place, too many management hanges.

my niece was recognized by her high school today and received commendation for her GPA. Gets some extra stuff to put on her letterman jacket.

Yesterday Mrs. Post walked into the home office where I was working and asked me to come upstairs to talk about something. I could tell it wasn’t run of the mill stuff, but figured our oldest son Two Post (8) said or asked something that was a difficult proposition. When I went upstairs Mrs. Post showed me a pregnancy test.

I have always wanted a third child, Mrs. Post wanted just the two we had (Three Post is 6). She pulls a bit more weight in that decision so I accepted we would have two great kids. I have a blessed, wonderful and fulfilling life in every way, family foremost. I never would have had serious regrets about having only two kids, but would have always though a third would have been icing on the cake. Since shortly after the birth of Three Post we have used, more or less, impenetrable birth control so it never crossed my mind we would have a third kid because Mrs. Post has always made her feelings known when I have broached the subject.

We have a long way to go and at this point the outcome is more likely to end in disappointment due to age and some other issues, but yesterday was and probably forever will be the happiest day of my life. We obviously can’t tell anyone IRL anytime soon, but I had to tell someone.

Just kidding, of course. Ours was oppo of your situation, Mrs. K wanted #3, I was content with the two boys. When our daughter was born, everything became much more difficult. Now that she is grown up, controlling her issues, and successful, things are great, and it has been rewarding, but a lot of work. Best of luck with your family.

I successfully avoided paying $80k a year to have my kid attend Syracuse only to be miserable each winter when she's snowed in. Colleges are scams.

Great news and good luck on that precarious path to birth. Kids are a blessing. I really have been feeling like I want to have another but I don't think that is happening for a number of reasons.

No offense, but you're old as fuck. It's not a good look to be wearing diapers while changing them, my friend.

my boy was given the daunting task of writing a speech on british dentistry reform, which was delivered by his mp in committee. I thought writing "Bear Down!" at the end was a little much

I bought a new pontoon boat to replace my fish and ski. I am too old to not have a flat surface for footing.
