You think it's "gun nuts" who are uptight in the wake of mass shootings? Your queen is tweeting nonsense about silencers. You're really trying to earn your pussy hat, aren't you? #hillaryman

I guess purposely misconstruing others' posts is one way to deflect attention from your DaddyBear Trumplove. Not sure why you don't own it instead of denying it; but there is a solution. Find an old school roll of postage stamps, wrap them around your little Trumphood, and read the following statements aloud 10 times. It's just standard issue reassuring tough talk of a type that you and your people find arousing. If the stamps are broken, it's time to own your Trumplove. If not, then maybe you really do have a more sophisticated perception of rhetorical media strategies than the average person. :P

Free and easy. Much easier then some are claiming a gun card needs to be.

Mike - serious question: why do you think this issue is so partisan (ie GOP loves it)?

Can only answer for myself. I think fairness and law and order. It matters not to me whether there is 100 or 100,000 questionable voters. The partisan argument is pretty well documented as is the gun one.

Deep down do you really believe this is about law and order or about reducing the vote totals of the opposition?

For me it’s law and order. I have the same answer about immigration as well.

You’re being coy by making it about you when I asked about the fact that it is a GOP push. For instance, what did PA House Majority Leader Mike Turzai mean when he stated “Voter ID, which is gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done.” ?

Well as it relates to voting or immigration I would like the law to be followed to a tee. And those that don’t like the current situation should work together to change those laws. As it relates to today’s discussion following the current gun laws is what I mean. And if people are passionate about changing that amend the constitution. Not a lot of wiggle room on my end.

Seems so or he knows the guy.

Is asking if this is a bit a bit?

Why the shock? Big (life changing) gambling losses could absolutely push someone over the edge.

I would say there is no motive we can learn that makes this guy’s actions better in any way. LTG stating his theory in such a way as to make it seem he “knows for sure” seems odd to me.

People jumping to conclusions regarding mental illness renders them no less sure than I am. Mental illness is the go to move every time a guy commits an act such as this.

I'm merely stating my opinion. Obviously I don't have proof but if i were to venture a guess id say that the gambling angle is more plausible than "oh that guy was crazy".

He quite obviously had a gambling addiction. If one wants to speculate on whether that constitutes mental illness or not then fine. The way that he gambled was not normal. He was a guy with a nice stash with nothing to do and no one to leave it with.

Recluse who made residential decisions based upon an abnormal gambling habit. If you want to talk about "profiles" that is it. No friends or associates apparently either..

As far as people stating how gambling doesn't lead people to commit violent acts I'd ask them to explain how they reached such a bogus conclusion.

I know plenty of people that pull stunts because of gambling and I know of at least one person that committed suicide because of it.

I asked because this is like the 7th time ltg said the same exact thing in this thread. Should have that made clearer.

No it wasn't. You're exaggerating. I speculated about his gambling first and then it later came out that he was more than just a recreational gambler. He characterized himself as a professional gambler. People dismissed it out of hand initially and I reiterated the point after learning more about the guy.

If you are looking for redundant arguments in this thread you'd have to travel a country mile before you get to me. At least i provided an original thought on the matter.

This dude was blowing through loads of cash and people are sitting here saying no big deal as people don't kill over things like that. They most certainly kill over things like that.

Let's be fair to ltg here. He predicted a guy who shot up a city that is the #1 gambling destination in the country may have been a gambler. That's a Dr. Kensian type call.

Sorry but I couldn't get past the words of that freshly minted idiot, John Thune. To suggest that free people now just have to "take better precautions " and "get smaller " instead of talking about gun control.

I heard the question asked: smaller than the poor children at Sandy Hook elementary?
