I saw two weird stickers on vehicles yesterday. The first said, "NRA...Stand Up and Fight!". What or who are you fighting?

The second had a picture of a rifle with the words, "You can give peace a chance, I will cover you". That sounds like a guy who wants to shoot somebody.

I'm honestly curious as to how the framers intended the 2nd to apply to cannons, that might give us some better insight into how far the proterction was meant to run to preserve our ability to protect ourselves from the government itself.

Just light in the abortion debate, advocates on either side realize that giving up an inch is a slippery slope. That is why the NRA fights so hard even on issues that many of see as reasonable controls.
