She was probably passing bad checks, like Jerry's nana, and had to go into hiding.

Yeah. I have a friend and a cousin on my wife's side who have Celiac, so we are around it quite a bit and take precautions for them. I made a gluten free turkey chili for a Super Bowl party a few week's back.

Other people though, get the fuck over yourselves. Yes, there are pretzels mixed in with the other snacks. Yes, there was a bit of flour used to mix this dip. You are not going to die if you take a bite.

My Ccunt of a sister in law is like this. All of a sudden she was "completely gluten free" after years of drinking beer and eating fast food. She was driving my wife crazy about two years ago because she "had to have" a gluten free plate of food at her wedding shower...that my wife was hosting at our own damn house! My wife really having issues with trying to make this plate, and I told her to forget about it. Open up a can of veggies, boil two plain chicken breasts, and serve it. If she didn't like that, she can bring her own food or eat before/after the shower.

She ended up bitching about the dry chicken, but had two drink concoctions that were not gluten free.

I've discovered some gluten-free snacks at Sprouts that I love. They taste great and seem more fresh. Glutino pretzels come to mind. Those things are awesome. Other than a few snacks, I love gluten.
