Cops question kids all the time. They know that a kid doesn't know any better and will give them what they need to hear.

That doesn't mean anything though. If he had a TBI he probably did or said worse. In this case the only thing that matters is what happened that day.

Guy also served 7-years in prison for assault with a deadly weapon. If police knew this going in they were not going to take any chances.
