Congrats.

My long time GF and I got married last night. Getting on her health insurance did have something to do with it.

This was supposed to be under the radar, with an actual nice wedding on the beach in Lake Bluff this summer. Then my sister posts it on Facebook and Instagram...so, new wife posts on Facebook. My Facebook has now blown up.

Lots of "congrats!" from people wondering why they weren't invited/in the loop.

President Trump will at the place I work tomorrow so that should be interesting. Still not completely sure what the protocol will be
and if I will get to see him or not. They had the presidential helicopters and Osprey flying around town over the weekend and
practicing their landings in the parking lot. I think I would like to see that most of all.

I guess he will be flying in here by 2pm to sign a new executive order. Pretty sure all the associates will be down in the auditorium to get a

My daughter, our youngest, has changed her college of choice for her upcoming freshman year, AND the new place is about half the cost of the previous choice. Today, she was informed that she has been awarded a scholarship by my employer. I may not have to go back to sucking cock down at the wharf just to make ends meet after all!!

Even just for old time's sake?

I see Oprah, Moochelle and Barry are chiilin off Mo'orea Island in French Polynesia. Well, I was there over 40 years ago. Stayed one week on Tahiti and 2 weeks om Moorea, as it was spelled back then. It was known then as the most beautiful place inna world to vacation. Stayed at Club Med, an all inclusive, for $120 a week. Polynesian girls are mostly ugly but the Chinese-Polynesian girls are not. French brought the Chinese down there to run their copra operations.
Quinn's Bar was in business back then on the waterfront of Papeete, Tahiti. It was known as "the worst bar in the world" but really wasn't. It just had a lot of fugly ladyboys and French sailors and intrepid travelers. A good time was had by all even tho the beer was French.
I was on my way to Australia on a one way ticket, post USAF.

New apartments and stores and office buildings stand where wooden storefronts once crowded the scene. One in particular rises on the very spot where Quinn's hosted the bold, the bad and the beautiful.

As the most notorious bar in French Polynesia, Quinn's was where the painter Leeteg belted one too many one night, then climbed aboard his moped and spun off on a trip to eternity, colliding head-on with a tree.

When they tore down Quinn's it was like disassembling the Eiffel Tower. Or uprooting the cable cars in San Francisco. Quinn's was a tourist attraction, an institution, the watering hole of Tahitians and tourists, French sailors and foreign legionnaires.

Nearly every tourist who ever set foot in Papeete rushed headlong to Quinn's to kick back and join the wicked who made Quinn's their home base. Well, the timorous did a detour, maybe, but the adventurous were fascinated with the motley crowd that kept the cash register ringing.

Without a doubt, Quinn's was the most shameful bar in the entire Pacific. Customers ducked flying beer bottles while Suzy No Pants danced with the legendary Bali Hai Boys.
