Have fun, Mike. Lucky for you they serve a bit of beer at the Magic Kingdom now.

Hyatt resort down here is absolutely top notch.

Going to spend the day at Cocoa Beach tomorrow if anyone has pointers. Fly home Saturday.

Relaxed and recharged.

Stayed in Cape Canaveral a couple of years ago...if you're so inclined, go to the Kennedy Space Center...awesome...and they have the Columbia shuttle exhibit, which is pretty cool (it had been 20 years since the last time I had been there before 2015).

Also, Florida Beer Company in Cape Canaveral

I believe they just finished building Disney Springs (formerly Pleasure Island), which is basically a giant outlet mall with a lot of restaurants. I believe you can also get a lot of drinks at Epcot.

They finished the renovations there a couple of years ago...we were there in February, and its quite nice...please note that Mike said he was going to Cocoa Beach (same thing as Cape Canaveral), thus, my advice. Goddammit.

Ran 103 miles in March. 152.6 in April (yeah I'm counting the .6). Never ran more than 88 in a month.

There's a high school I avoid running by out of fear of a shooter. Nonsensical, I know.

My sister just got diagnosed with cancer yesterday. Waiting on visit to oncologist to see how bad it is. Comes right around the 1st anniversary of my brothers passing so my mother is coming unglued.

Well I was going to come in here to brag about another big raise but this is depressing. Hope it something that can be treated easily.

And wrong thread.

For the last 8 years or so,I have let the guy behind me have a garden in MY yard. It used to be a joint venture but my wife tired of it. They share the output with us.

My daughter worked a Golf deal in Branson a couple weeks back. She was a score keeper for Corey Pavin, Duffy Waldorf, Jerry Smith and Jeff Sluman. She got me signed golf balls from each of them.

we've done it twice now. We stayed on resort. the first time at the lodge and the 2nd at the animation hotel. its a pretty amazing experience. i was a sourpuss regarding the idea during the first go around. then we got there and everything is clean, every worker you encounter is polite and helpful. The digital ability to see how busy things are in an app makes you way more efficient.

We went right after thanksgiving. the xmas stuff was up but the place was a near ghost town. we avged 18 attractions a day both times we went.

i'm now sold. we plan on going ever 5 years. probably even after the kids are grown.

Just got back from the ceremony where Dr. Ken Jr. I, the young boy I posted about 12 years ago that nearly died from a heart condition - the same boy, at age 2, that the "expert" on child development at Rush told my wife to "go home and cry" because he will never develop in a traditional manner, graduated with high honors and a nice scholarship package to study Physics at......University of Illinois-UC.

Congrats! Chambana's a great place to live. Hopefully he's excited to see what the area has to offer. That's awesome news.

I see what you did there.

I can't tell if that's an insult or if I'm just not "hip".

Do the kids still say "hip"?

Congrats Doc. It is great when the experts are wrong in that way. May daughter #2 is another example. Just finished year two biochemistry dean's list.

Congrats Doc. Can't believe a doctor would tell your wife that. You both must have had amazing courage and conviction to get through that.
