Apparently all other SEC teams make fun of LSU fans by saying they smell like corndogs. So they always have corndogs on LSU games.

That sounds familiar. I haven’t had a a bite of a corn dog since my daughter got one at sandwich fair last year. But damn. I’m hungry.

I HATE that they have him going from the stretch. He’s way more than athletic enough to repeat a windup. Give him a chance. His fastball had good late life. Too bad he only threw the one curveball.

He's finally settled on a release point, but it seems to have flattened out his pitches and cut down his velo

I can back that tradition.

Bama is getting partially checked by the Tigers defense...again.

At some point I'm looking forward to an actual quarterback coming to Baton Rouge

Got a question about growlers.
Is the steel ones worth the money or do I stick with the glass? When I buy I usually drink them within a week.

Dude, Vodka neat is very solid. There's a reason Roger Sterling was a fan. Only the best for the best.

I kid. Drink whatever floats your boat. I love whiskey more than all other spirits combined.

Ever get the chance try a barrel aged rum, say a Flora de Cana 12 year. It’s not bourbon but it’s pretty good.

I can do vodka rocks or near but if it’s neat it better have been in a freezer. I don’t like warm vodka.

Has to be frozen.

And now Skyfall is back on

Gibsons again, but this time with Dolin Dry Vermouth instead of Martini & Rossi Extra Dy.

Roger Sterling Approved.

The greatest day in college football history had one pretty good game with a sloppy ending.

Let's drink.

Tito's / Rocks / No Fruit

Had a frozen Gino's East Tavern-Style pizza. Pretty good. Lots of cheese.

Leftover bottle of Witch's Brew from my Horrorthon. This was preserved in the fridge but I realize now it is a red wine, and belongs as a red, at room temp.

I feel like puttin on a pyre! Bring me Salem!

I think red is supposed to be about 10 degrees below room temperature.

I drink some reds a little cooler than others. Pinot Noirs can definitely can have a slight chill to them. Some of the spicier red wines like a good Shiraz or Tempranillo I drink pretty close to room temp.

I'm really rooting for him too. I've heard better things. He looked A LOT better at the plate. Next year will be a big year for him.

Darius is finally healthy. He's playing in Australia this winter (their summer). It's a good league and a great opportunity for him to do some catch up. Hopefully he plays well there and gets assigned to low A in the spring.

Which team?

The Australian league has cut back on their streaming, but they still show four or five games a weekend on YouTube (abltv). Most of the ballparks are worse than a Central Suburban League field. I root for Melbourne because I have family there, they sucked for years but blew through the regular season with Adam Engel and Braves prospect Ronald Scuba, but then lost in the three game playoff.

I'm stuck drinking caffeine free Diet Pepsi for another week thanks to this damn surgery. Need to get off all the painkillers by Thanksgiving so I can enjoy the long weekend.
