So I'm in Rainbo and my wife and I gravitate to a corner of the bar where some old guys are. One guy stsrts talking about how great ELP is. I can't help myself and I say, "ELP sucks." One of these idiots starts lecturing me and says, "I'm in the music business." :lol: I say, "Yeah, you and everyone else in here." And then I lost complete interest in the conversation. I have no desire to talk to some douche who has no clue what he's talking about, especially when he's positioning himself as an authority.

Some drinks, the fruit is the default. For example, Gin and tonic gets a lime. And if I order a Rob Roy I specify, "no fruit". But a Scotch and soda doesn't get a twist unless it's requested.

My father in law was always a stoli and soda, no fruit, and god help the waiter who failed to remember the no fruit part. I don't think I'd ever put fruit in something I was drinking straight as opposed to s cocktail.
