I mean this in the nicest way possible, but anyone who chooses to drink vodka should be water boarded.

Dude, Vodka neat is very solid. There's a reason Roger Sterling was a fan. Only the best for the best.

I kid. Drink whatever floats your boat. I love whiskey more than all other spirits combined.

Ever get the chance try a barrel aged rum, say a Flora de Cana 12 year. It’s not bourbon but it’s pretty good.

I can do vodka rocks or near but if it’s neat it better have been in a freezer. I don’t like warm vodka.

Agree on dark aged rums. Since we came back from the Caymans a few years ago I have been drinking a lot of top end rum. Throw in a splash of Coke or none at all.

Try the 5 star Barbancourt from Haiti.

Good stuff. And lethal.

Nah 12 is all they got at the Blackhawks bar in T2. There's a Glenfiddich 14 but I'm brand loyal because I'm stupid.

Actually check that, the Macallan bottle was almost empty, and I don't feel like making this poor bartender deal with a drunk customer and opening another bottle, so Glen 14 it is, while overzealous Iowa football fans react to every play on the TV.

Heavy hearted night that I'm hoping there's enough red blend to mend. Lost 4 people close to me and my family this year, latest just came last night. My sister's mother in law, whose family I've shared the best Thanksgivings this past decade. One hell of a year indeed.

Sitting around watching Rick Bayless go at it with the little extras that no one actually has, whilst knocking out bourbon and Vernor's ginger soda. Unless the Dodgers turn it around, it'll be a short night.

Making tomorrow a Cuban food day(and hoping that Yasiel can make his way to the original Ninfa's to recharge). Thanks wttw!

Is the beginning where Michelle Pfeiffer turns down the Starling role so she could do Love Field?

Really? Bad move. No way she could have played it better than Jodie Foster.

Jodie was like the 4th choice. He wanted Meg Ryan to do it. I love Meg Ryan but how bad would that movie have been?

Tito's, rocks, no fruit.

Waiting out The Bandit so I can watch the SNL David S. Pumpkins special. She hates SNL to an absurd degree. It can't be on when she's in the room.

She's looking strong, though. Don't think I'll get the opportunity.
