Black male, punching a petite white girl?? Jail time. Sure she slapped him first, but that little gal couldn't have done any damage. He should have just walked away. He was just incensed that he dissed her in public and lost his temper.

I don't know why that story assumes he will get drafted. The much more likely scenario is that he gets an invite as an undrafted free agent, like Lagarette Blount a few years ago. I don't think he was invited to the Combine and I believe invites are based on team interest.

You are crazy. He is definitely going to get drafted, and probably no later than the fourth round.

Well, one of us will be right in two months. I will not reference this post when I am as I will be much too busy battling Dewski in post draft threads

He has first round talent. Somebody will take a chance on him.

So did Blount. So did Burfict for that matter.

Suggs, Moss, and Sapp all fell due to off field concerns. I think teams are realizing that it is a mistake to pass up on talent like that.

I guess Chus is correct but it depends on what each team's feeling is with regard to resisting SJW/PC blow back.

There are two issues at play. Internally, will the guy have continuing problems. Externally, is this something you accept in your organization and how will the public react. I don't think Mixon is clear on either.

I don't agree with your last sentence.

Ray McDonald, Greg Hardy, and Pac Man Jones kept finding work.

all as free agents, which is what I predict Mixon will be as well

Drafting a player elevates the investment

A fourth round draft picks gets roughly a 4yr/$2.5 M contract including a 500K signing bonus. That's not much of an investment. Sixth and seventh rounders get even less. Somebody will roll the dice.

Turns out the woman was talking about wanting to smoke weed. In my mind Mixon's actions are now completely vindicated.
