Two hours ago, we had heavy rain, thunder, and high winds. That sounds like a storm to me.

Flew in from Cabo last night and things got really bumpy as we got closer to Chicago. Had to abort the landing when we were 100 feet off the ground...MANY passengers gave a round of applause upon landing.

I would like to thank the storm for blowing most of the leaves out of my yard. Raking is for suckers.

I have a callery pear tree in my front yard that always loses leaves well into December and is a general pain in my ass. The winds from yesterday emptied the entire tree, so now I've got one last rake to do and I'm all set.

This morning on Ch. 32 a reporter urged viewers to allow extra time going to work this morning because it is windy.

Last week or the week before, Mike Caplan referred to impending rain as a "liquid event." What a jagoff.

Aren't "liquid events" something they teach you about in 7th grade health class?

Now, that is not enough to cause any flooding or puddles, but it shows without a doubt that rain did fall.

This is one of the few sites I’ve read where people can’t even agree on whether it rained.
