Pete Rose should not be in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Ted Nugent should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Why is that? There really isn't much that isn't clear in the differences of the sports.

Ted Nugent packed his ass with peanut butter and then rooted around in to dodge a draft, but now is a state's rights/original intent clown . And is an irrelevant back bench "musician" chicken hawk.

And a weirdo tee-totaller to boot

Strong take. We should petition to get him kicked out.

I hope this is right. I didn't care for Rauner, but was hopeful your sentiment here would apply to his tenure. That hasn't turned out well.

Dead serious, I think the Bulls have a punchers chance of taking out Boston in this upcoming best of seven series.

Here's a take: Hockey has the most skilled athletes of any sport.

This is from attending more hockey games recently. Really don't follow the league that closely. I can imagine that a hockey team could put up a decent showing in other sports, but I can't imagine athletes from other sports skating and have the precision in passing and shooting. Those are skills that I can't comprehend.

Hockey is for the people who couldn't make real sports teams.

case in point, I play in a league vs Hunter Hillenmeyer. Obviously, not a Lebron talent. But, he's a former pro athlete who actualy had a hockey background growing up. Learned to skate as a kid and played some hockey growing up before giving it up for football. Went back to hockey after retiring. He's been playing every week for about 5 years now and he has definitely improved and is a very fast skater north and south, but even after 5 years he lacks even what I would consider basic edge work skills. I'm 46 years old, have had 7 spine surgeries and I can still skate circles around Hillenmeyer despite his improvements.

wtf, HH need a concussion fix or what?

shakes plays in a no checking league.

And football is really the sport for folks who couldn't play anything else.

no check league but you can still get a concussion. I had one a few years ago in a pick up game. And as fast and somewhat out of control as Hunter skates, it does seem a bit risky for him. Should've probably transitioned to paddle tennis instead.

Yep. No check or not, I can see a fast skater losing control, losing edge and head hits ice/wall. His life and he can do what he wants (Great line from Animals tune for you youngsters out there). The thrill of competition may be best suited elsewhere.

People still collide all the time. Had a broken neck in the league this year from a collision and fall into the boards. Didn't witness it just heard about after affects.

I was just illustrating that even a non-check league can be deadly. Even to celebrities.

Removed from all the outside nonsense, Julie DiCaro is not a terrible sports talker.

Do you mean the quality of her takes, or the value of her hosting abilities taken as a whole? One is "meh", the other is atrocious.

She is an awful person.

But she was fine when she was on The Game. Not good, but not terrible.

Outside of all the things that make her awful, Julie Dicaro is not awful. Strong take, Peeps.
