He played MANY instruments well. Jimmy Page plays one exceptionally. Easy to make a strong case for both. Plant was definitely the weak link, especially after 1973.

But without Plant Zeppelin is just a half step better than stuff like Joe Satriani or early Journey.

I completely agree with this.

Yep but like other things people demanded change. Here it is.

The other day I read an article about Plant. It was actually opposite of that 1973 remark. It was Page that pushed hard for the reluctant Plant to become a lyric writer and bigger force in the group. Without that they truly would have been very different and not necessarily better.

The White Sox have a better ballpark than the Red Sox.

You three are nuts, the Bears would be so much better off if they never heard of Jay Cutler.

Yup. A completely forgettable era. No reason to extend it. Every other team confirmed this.

I doubt that's an unpopular take, Fenway is hands down the worst stadium in sports. It's absurd to be playing balls off a 40' wall.

I can only go by what I was told from my guy who has experienced many venues including the afore mentioned... He says Comiskey Park, US Cellular Field, Guaranteed Rate Field, Sox Park or whatever you choose to call it has EVERYTHING going for it except a consistent operating system that promotes winning. Disclaimer - This is not a Cubs vs Sox slam starter. I personally like both teams. However, it does seem that the Sox have a great venue that is often overlooked because of some variables outside of their control.

I hate all sugar water but my wife has been addicted to Gatorade Lemonade flavor since she threw seven no hitters in HS. It went away for a while they brought it back couple years ago and we must have 34 bottles of the shit in the house at all times. If I could ejaculate the shit she would blow me 24/7. I am working on this BTW.

I used to tell parents not to waste their money on that crap, that water and then chocolate milk was better. But it was hard to fight advertising and stubborn kids.

Hell, I couldn't convince my oldest to give up the crap. Which means that I had it in my freezer for 6-7 years

Too sugary? That's not a thing that's possible.

Like I said the other day, most of it is bad, but when it's a hot day and you're shedding fluids by the bucket, there's nothing like plain original regular lemon-lime Gatorade.

Chus wrote:

Never tried this. I usually just have a couple slugs of Gatorade and then drink water. I've been doing this with orange juice for years, though. I think if I drank straight orange juice now I would look like Ray Liotta doing coke in Goodfellas.

I buy the canister of powder, and mix it myself. Half strength is perfect for me. The only flavors I like are orange, lemon lime, and fruit punch. The light blue one, whatever its called, is okay.

The powder mix tastes different than what comes in the bottles on the shelf. At least to me it does.

I'll be drinking plenty of g2 when working outside in the summer. It's good to get more than just water when you're sweating a lot.

Gatorade is sweet, but only about 2/3 as many calories as soda. I agree with CH that the original lemon-lime is the best.

I like the watermelon citrus and lime cucumber flavors...not as sickeningly sweet as some of the others.

Fierce Grape Gatorade is the best.

Literally nothing is improved with a tub of mayonaise.

A good lobster roll doesn't have mayonnaise.

Along those lines, I think "lobster mac and cheese" is an abomination.
