I'd check it out, but I don't want to live in Lake County. Pulte homes have great open floor layouts and high quality construction! If I ever bought a new tract home again, I would go to Pulte first.

A huge area has been clear cut on the northeast corner of Milwaukee and 60.

Labeling trees "invasive" is clever.

That is for a strip mall. Because we all need another Whole Foods.

This project is north of the mall behind the apartment/condo complex.

Oh. Great.

Mellody Farm, across Milwaukee Avenue from the Hawthorn regional shopping center, has been described as having an urban feel unlike typical suburban shopping areas.

When I decide to visit a farm I head to Chicago or NYC to get freshly picked corn and pet the goats.

It's going to be hilarious when prospective Pulte buyers do research on the company and find this thread.

It didn't come off as a joke but that's ok.

It's the only way I can cope with the pain. Well that, or get related to Frank "through marriage" and follow Caller Bob's advice.

Fixed, like the drywall in a Plute home.

Only when the puppy chews on it. I will give you this warning though Boyd- don't ever hang one of those indoor basketball hoops into drywall (not the door ones, but the larger ones). You can bet that you'll go down in the basement one day and find a hole the size of your kid in the drywall.

Why the hell would I do something stupid like that?

We bought one of those side by side basketball games where you shoot at the hoop and the balls return back at the bottom like something you see Dave and Busters. Well of course the boys would get too rough around it and eventually broke the part of the mechanism that returns the balls. But the two hoops were pretty solid and still in working order, so I just mounted them into the studs of the drywall. And it was great fun. They never did rip the rims down as I warned them against hanging on the rims. But apparently they liked dunking over one another with a predictable outcome.

Hah, well that wasn't Pulte's. They don't offer finished basements.

That piece of land at Milwaukee and 60 has been in talks for development for 30 years. It has been studied multiple times...

I am looking forward to having a Kuma's closer than the mecca. Plus that intersection is going to get redone, so it should help traffic a bit.

Man, fuck Kuma's corner. It was great when it was just the fucking shitty ass metal dive bar on Belmont. Now you got one on Golf Road in Schaumbrug of all places. It's next to a Fidelity trade office and Starbucks for christ's sake.

The owner of Kuma's must have sold out and franchised the name. I cant see him opening up these other locations on his own.

The place in Schsumburg just isnt the same either. The food is not as good, the music played is much more mainstream, and the movies are not as graphic. Even the staff is mostly friendly.

Doubt that flies as Zillow takes their pictures from MLS listings.
