I was pretty mad when I got to Chicago last week. I filled up late in Indiana so I could beat the Chicago area taxes. Gas was 2.17 at my moms! All the way back through Ohio 2.23 was tops. PA here I sit at 2.49!

Well I heard an ad this weekend against the Cook County beverage tax saying that a $0.99 two liter may double in price. Oh well, I live in Kane County and don't drink soda. It's on juices and even water as well. Other than leash, if it comes in a bottle, it's affected by the tax. |

I don't think that there is going to be a hot war between the Saudis and Qatar or any other state. Probably just muck along, and have proxy attacks like they have had for decades. |

They were built on the idea of using 2 jumbo jet routes to connect large cities via their hub, but passengers have spoken and they prefer mid-sized long range jets that fly point to point rather than via a hub on a larger A-380. That is why the A-350 and 787 are raking in over a thousand orders each whereas the A-380 and 747-8 are both being discontinued before they reached break-even for Airbus or Boeing. |
