If cost, inconvenience, logistics, etc. weren't an issue, what is the one place you'd visit?

Hopefully C Howitt still has a few left.

It's crazy as hell just to get there.. you have to connect on like 4 different flights.

I think you have to stay in Ecuador and take day trips unless you have a personal guide or something. Sounds like one big headache.

Ostkrieg! That would be interesting, definitely.

Mine:

Route 66. One month. (with hookers)

-and-

One month of county fairs in the Midwest and Plains or the South.

I'd love to do a cruise up the coast of Alaska.

I think that would be awesome.

Did the southeast part of Alaska in early 90's with NOLS in a kayak. It was glorious. Had a freaking whale surface about 25 yards tops infront of my kayaks. Never felt so small in my life.

Tierra del feugo, Tahiti and woods buffalo provincial park are three places I'd like see before I die.

I want to drive to Alaska. Done it twice, back in the 80's. Kinda like the Route 66 trip, just North, and twice as long. Rte 66 would also be interesting, if the proper time was allowed.

It is fun. But it does feel like a giant cocktease for what Alaska truly offers.

Similarly to Caribbean, the ports are hit or miss depending on if the stop is essentially cruiseship owned or is a self sustaining city on its own (Juneau).
