Went to Culver's tonight to get some grub. Some old bag gave us a dirty look. I think her cod dinner was taking too long.

Their Wisconsin Pub Burger was underwhelming.

If you like tenderloins, try theirs. Not bad for a chain.

Try the pot roast sandwich. It is excellent.
They have it even if it is not listed on the menu.

Tenderloin basket for the win. It's my go-to order when I want to pretend like I'm an alpha.

@HGay

Fuck yes it is. There are few places with better burgers. Plus they serve custard.

You want custard? Go to Ollie's in DeKalb. Top notch.

Sarley is correct - that saingwich is very good.

Also, FWIW - Culver's crinkle cut fries are delicious.

It really is. The equal of fried fish served at most sit down restaurants.

the fries at Culvers are disgusting, always upgrade to cheese curds.

The Rueben is good there as well (for a chain).

Agreed on the tenderloin and cheese curds. That's the call per my caddy, Stan.

Really disappointed in myself for not hitting up an In-N-Out when we were in San Diego.

100% correct.

Also, at Culver's, I like their onion rings...their fries suck.

I was underwhelmed by in-n-out. I'm guessing it was too built up in my mind and there was no way to meet expectations. Or the one in Phoenix sucked.

I've had In-n-out burger many times. Maybe I'm just numb to it....I thought Whattaburger was better.

I had a Steak and Shake burger tonight for the first time since I was a teenager. Was pleasantly surprised.

Also had one a bit ago for the first in a long time. It's good. It don't like shoestring fries.

Same. I remembered they sucked so I went with the onion rings which were good.

We had a coupon for two $4 meals for $5. I got a triple steak burger with onion rings for $2.50. Add cheese, $3. Was delicious.

I had BK recently. Double whopper with cheese and fries. $8. Was horrible. Felt like I ate dog food after. I don't know how they're still around.

Steak and shake double bacon burger is often my after hockey meal as it's probably best choice for food on the way home. The habanero sliders (maybe it's jalapeño) are also a pleasant change of pace when I would take my daughter there after her volleyball or basketball games.
