The best argument is that he believes nothing and has no principles and just does what he thinks is popular.

I attribute most of his questionable Tweets and actions to pure idiocy and political posturing. As a corollary, Democrats would use the terms undocumented immigrants or avoid the term Muslim when describing terrorists. It is all coded language or political (in)correctness designed to appeal to a base of supporters.

So driving to work this afternoon, I realized that one of the things I really like about this place is its diversity. Yes, there are some true dumbasses on here, and you can all have your opinion of who they are. But none of the ethnic or cultural groups here are unilateral in their viewpoint.
