The violent ANTIFA thugs are definitely a problem.

That is a rational opinion so you better find something else.

Quote:
According to University of Utah spokesperson Chris Nelson, two people were arrested when scuffles broke out between protesters and counter-demonstrators.

Three other people were briefly detained and released.

Steven Crowder, a conservative blogger with close ties to Shapiro, published an undercover video Thursday that purported to show far left-wing protesters, known as “Antifa” (for “anti-fascist”), distributing weapons ahead of Shapiro’s speech.

Crowder’s production team presented the video to police moments after it was recorded.

“Police looked at the video, evaluated other information available to them, and determined the individuals did not pose a credible threat that warranted action,” Nelson told Fox 13 News.

People handing out switchblades, bringing a weapons cache, and talking about "luring" others into a vulnerable spot is not a "credible threat".

YOU may look rationally at these criminals, but the universities and police (often university police) do not.

I think RPB meant that Sini's statement that violent Antifa people are bad was rational.

It was just a joke about Panther having extreme views.

Point taken though. They are dangerous and should be treated as such.

Multiple gunmen, ANTIFA literature strewn everywhere, . . . This was an ANTIFA false flag hit.

Multiple shooters, per police scanner. Mandalay Bay also reported shots from floor 29.

Why do we have this extreme need to make every tragedy a conspiracy?

It's a psychological issue that we don't have the acumen for.

People who on one hand constantly preach that the government CANT EVEN RUN THE DMV simultaneously claim that they are responsible for massive cover-ups that are pulled off without a glitch and no leaks.

That's the scariest thing about it. He appears to have just snapped. So as a liberal democrat my entire life, I dont know what that says about our ability to regulate that risk away. The research says there is really no answer for the US, or for heavily regulated Europe where a Norwegian nutjob can use a high powered rifle to hunt kids on an island.

A truck ran over and killed 80+ people. There are mass knife killings in Asia every year.

Perhaps these people we always discount when they try and sound the alarm about how violent our society has become due to movies and games, have a point somewhere. Combined with a life that is ever more difficult and confusing, maybe this is just the new normal. I know I yearn for the days when things were simpler. I wish for the days when I didn't have a phone, and that wasn't all that long ago.

Maybe you can't stop THIS guy but you can stop some. This guy interests me a lot because what he did was elaborate and he apparently pulled if off without any formal training and no apparent motive.

From 4chan on September 10th:

Anonymous ID:LAbNFEtv Sun 10 Sep 2017 23:28:12 No.141102703 Report
it's called the "high incident project". they want to make the american public think that places with extremely high security aren't safe. they are trying to create more regulations. you will see laws proposed within the next few years to put up more metal detectors and other security devices. media and politicians will be saying places with lots of police need even more police. i can't guarantee anything will happen tomorrow but las vegas is on their minds.
-john

Anonymous ID:LAbNFEtv Sun 10 Sep 2017 23:55:53 No.141104921 Report
if their plan is successful state of nevada will pass a law in the future making all casinos have mandatory metal detectors and backscatter machines. soon after a federal law will be passed to put these machines in universities, high schools, federal buildings, you name it. osi systems and chertoff are the main producers of these machines. sometime around 2020 chertoff and osi will merge into a single company. after they merge the owners will sell off all their stock and make billions in profit. mr chertoff has been in contact with sheldon adelson. mr adelson will become a huge sponsor of these machines and he will be the first to put them in his casinos when the law passes. this is my last message for now. don't expect me to return anytime soon

People love to find a motive, so they can try to rationalize why it happened. They also love it so they can find out what changes to enact to try to prevent it from happening again and exacting more control over our lives. As Rahm said, never let a crisis go to waste.

Someone just being bad/evil is not good enough for some.

Outside of bad/evil serial killers, there's generally always a motive with an event like this. Shouldn't we want to know more about what led this guy to go off the deep end?

Btw, I don't think he was some Antifa patsy, but I do want to know more info about his motivations.

And LV casinos have cameras everywhere. Where's the Mandalay Bay footage?

I'm not a Reynolds Wrap stockholder but there's some odd things with this.

Vegas is an odd place when it comes to security, what with all the hush-hush and connections and whatnot...I'm fairly certain that Mandalay Bay is under no obligation to release their security footage, and may be internally investigating how this guy got all his shit in there...

And it's entirely possible that they figured it out, and don't want to advertise how he did it as a preventative measure to try and keep this from happening again.

I don't think it's any mystery...he likely walked it in through the front door and no one would have had any reason to think twice about it.

I don't think Mandalay Bay can just tell the FBI, "Nah, we got this."

Yes, but why are so many people convinced he brought all that weaponry in one trip? It's far more likely it was multiple trips.

I'm sure the conspiracy loons will pick my theory apart, but I just look at it as common sense. Our society is at a point where they expect everything immediately, and have a right to it - whether it's in the best interest of the public or not.

I have a guy in my office screaming conspiracy because they still haven't released all the victim names yet. When I pointed out that MANY haven't been identified yet, and some of them may have been, but maybe family hasn't been notified yet, his response was, "the public has a right to know!". He shut up really quickly when I asked him how he would feel if his daughter was among the dead, and they let the media know before they let him...shut him up real quick.

He probably had the hotel guys bring it up for him.
