I don't think it's any mystery...he likely walked it in through the front door and no one would have had any reason to think twice about it.

Yes, but why are so many people convinced he brought all that weaponry in one trip? It's far more likely it was multiple trips.

He probably had the hotel guys bring it up for him.

Fuckin high roller gets an expensive room, you're not going thru his bag. (you wouldn't got thru anyone's but definitely not THAT guy)

Vegas is an odd place when it comes to security, what with all the hush-hush and connections and whatnot...I'm fairly certain that Mandalay Bay is under no obligation to release their security footage, and may be internally investigating how this guy got all his shit in there...

And it's entirely possible that they figured it out, and don't want to advertise how he did it as a preventative measure to try and keep this from happening again.

I don't think Mandalay Bay can just tell the FBI, "Nah, we got this."

I'm not saying they didn't give it to the FBI, but, once again, in an active investigation, the FBI is under no obligation to release it, either.

And you're fooling yourself if you don't believe that whatever outfit is really running MB also has connection within the FBI.

That's quite the conspiracy sir.

Just fucking around Boyd, but yeah the FBI prolly has a mountain of info on this guy. We're only getting the crumbs at this point.

Several trips in and out with a golf bag gets that shit in the hotel no questions asked.

I read this book about old Vegas recently, and, the more I thought about it, the less I thought that things didn't still operate that way...

Even if there were a conspiracy or others involved it is very unlikely we would know about it yet. The FBI etc is likely tacking all their leads and figuring things out. The only reason they would tell anyone about any of that is if it was in the necessary interest to do so.

Exactly, I was starting to really question the intelligence of news media and others when I kept hearing the question, "How could he have brought all that up there in one trip without anyone noticing?"

A travel golf bag could hold MANY guns. The weight of the bag wouldn't be suspicious, either. A bag, clubs, balls, shoes, etc. gets heavy.

Oh, I totally agree with you. It's just some on this board are way too dismissive of any conspiracy about anything ever.

Doesn't that Trump loving Sheldon Addelson guy basically run Vegas at this point too? I'm sure his hands aren't completely clean when it comes to the mob.

Each and every time I see Sheriff Joseph "Son of the Clown" Lombardo pop up on my TV screen i begin to think exactly the same thing.

Yeah, he had his hands all over the Raiders move...and I can almost guarantee his hands are dirty as hell...

I haven't really heard anyone say they think he brought it in all at once. With the thousands of people arriving and leaving Mandalay every day, there is no way he would attract any attention bringing in a few suitcases at a time, unless the cases themselves stood out ("HANDLE WITH CARE: WEAPON INSIDE!").

I think there was a comment that he brought them in over several trips, maybe even 10 (but there have been so many numbers given out it’s hard to keep track) Those ar guns break down pretty small and aren’t heavy.

It's also going to be a very bad look if their "lending" practices sent him over the edge.

I mentioned this recently in an unrelated thread. I can't really think of a good reason why casinos are allowed to lend money to gamblers.

That's why I keep referencing the gambling angle. Existing gun laws aren't getting changed. Maybe this will force them to take a closer look at gambling addictions. This guy obviously had one.

He's got money, he's got time ... he takes pieces here and there out to Vegas, maybe even Fed-Exes some too, rents a few storage rooms in several different places (perhaps the rattier the better, less automated surveillance?), pays cash under assumed names for a year in advance or whatever ... he gets there for the main event a handful of days prior, takes time to rent a panel van or large SUV with tinted windows, makes a few trips to each joint each day, bring some stuff to one room, some to another, etc. (they said he had bought multiple rooms I think?) ... lots of 'no maid service' or whatever signs ... with his spare time he assembles weaponry or plays Pai Gow Poker, hits a buffet ... he's seen but not remembered ... I put that timeline together taking a squirt ... not everything has to be some wacky and grand scheme.

Why did he do it? That's the only valuable info that could come out of this insofar as it goes to adding to existing profiles to maybe someday catch one before they finish.

Ok, so the Official Narrative changes yet again:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/las-vegas-se ... 08620.html

Some goofy shit going on here.

It wouldn't be too far-fetched to believe that we have the capability to brainwash people who seek mental health treatment through the drugs they are prescribed. There could be anything in those pills, even tiny electronic or signaling devices that allow Manchurian Candidate-esque control over one's mind.

. . . although I still think that the "peaceful" profile many are painting of this guy lines completely up with him being affiliated with the ANTIFA movement. Also, as it ws going on, why would the Melbourne branch refer to him as a one of theirs, as if they immediately knew of a connection?

I wonder if he were presented with the opportunity go back decades to think before he got verbal diarrhea about his politics in Hollywood, if he would do it?

He seems pretty content.

He's nuts politically, but I still like him. He's just too good of an actor to hate for me.

The story with the guy is weird. No motive, doesn't fit the profile, and a level of planning that just stands out. A lot of people can't make sense of it and they turn to conspiracy. I just think in this instance there's nothing to make sense of. They aren't all going to be Dorner.

He's also a genius IQ-wise. I think he has an IQ around 180.
