I don't know that we have a thread for this yet, and this isn't the best example, but I just heard on TNF that Ted Ginn has been in the league for 10 years. I looked it up and it is true.

I feel like Ginn has been around for 20 years. He's played for half the league.

Seems like just three years ago he was Ohio State's savior. He's only played for 11 NFL teams.

Once in awhile I still go back and watch that early-YouTube mashup of long TD returns/runs by him, Reggie Bush and Devin Hester, all while in college. It was retroactive love for Hester, but holy shit it looked like Ginn just floated past defenses.

I have a few friends (I'm not an old fart) who know Andrus. Corona del Sol high produces quality athletes, most recently Marvin Bagley.

I get randomly sore and have to think back to what I did the day before. It’s usually something pathetic like walking up and down the stairs a bunch.

Same for Frank Gore. I didn't realize he's the NFL's 5th ALL-TIME rusher now and could be number 4 by the end of this season.

I notice this too but as I've gotten older, it seems the soreness is actually delayed by two days (which makes it even harder to remember what I did to cause it).

Did a leg workout with a trainer on Tuesday. Felt fine until about 24 hours after the workout and then my hammies and calves completely locked
up on me. It's actually a thing called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. I think the legs will be back to normal by end of day today.

You know you're old when you have to decide if you rather go thirsty though the night or drink and have to piss every other hour.

You know your old when your favorite thing about your car isn't how fast it goes or how cool it looks, but if the seats heat up to relieve your back pain.

You know your old when kids are playing football outside and saying, "I want to be C.Newton!", "I'm A.Brown" another wanted to be "D.Kiser" :lol: None of the kids wanted to be anyone on the Bears. Can't say I blame them.

When I flip on a movie on TV and see the year it was made, it makes me feel ancient. The one that sticks out is Fight Club. Can’t believe it’s almost 20 years old.

One of my first fuck I’m old moments was seeing the signs for being born by this date to legally smoke and realizing that I was able to smoke at that age. The drinking ones this year were a bit more painful as at 36 I laughed it off at 42.. not do much.

Damn hair everywhere but the top of my head.

Yes, juiced the heated seats are nice but you have to get the steering wheel too as you’d be a second st how much that can help too.

Heard something the other day that Thriller was released 35 years ago.

I received my first Cortisone shot earlier this year.

Most of the above is just starting to feel your age.

Old is when you actively start to plan your work day around how many piss breaks you need to take, or take a leak at every opportunity so you can get the job done without stopping.

Old is when you have felt those pains from minor acts that you now take actions to prevent them: every implement has a jack so I don't try to lift something heavy to hook it to a tractor, I never jump off the tailgate of a pickup or even skip a step on the stairs lest something rupture or break.

Old is when no one even asks you to play a game anymore.

Old is when my buddy's grandson is now playing varsity high school basketball.
