I invested 10 grand in Ethereum back when it was $30 per share. I was urged to do so by my Polish coworkers. A couple days ago, my investment came real close to hitting the 500K mark. The only problem is that I lost my password and can’t recover any of it. When I finally reached someone at Coinbase after like 3 weeks, they told me to go fuck myself. That’s literally what the guy said to me on the phone.

Yeah, I’d be shocked if it was even half of that.

When you called coinbase, was it kind of like the movie Wall Street?

Consider it an achievement if you can wipe your ass without getting shit all over your hand

Now I’m being kicked by a guy who is even more retarded than I am. What did I do to deserve this?

Can anyone recommend a good suicide hotline? One that doesn’t charge too much per minute.

from something called Crypto:

Nearly 20 percent of people who own cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin went into debt to buy it, or bought it on margin.

That’s the finding of a survey of more than 3,000 people conducted in mid-January by CoinDesk, a New York-based provider of price data, information and news about digital tokens.

The rising use of debt is one of the reasons banks including Citigroup Inc. are halting purchases of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on their credit cards. JPMorgan enacted the ban Saturday. Bank of America started declining credit-card transactions on Friday. The banks are worried that borrowers may not repay, and that protections they offer shoppers could backfire. About 52 percent of CoinDesk survey respondents said they repaid their debt.

Analysts cite the credit tightening as being partly responsible for the downward pressure on prices of Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has lost about 40 percent of its value since the beginning of the year.

Oh, you meant Litecoin specifically. I don't know who the winners and losers will be in crypto, I'm just sure it's not going away. I'm guessing original Bitcoin will thrive.

Bitcoin had been a model of stability in the past few months. It finally broke below $6,000. I wonder what is driving the sudden sell-off.

The stabilization of the U.S. Dollar by one Donald J. Trump.

Better buy gold, Deni$$, because I am 100% certain the scam that is the U.S. Dollar will be exposed long before Bitcoin. You're the only "Libertarian" in the world who doesn't grasp the implications of the blockchain.

Blockchain technology is great and being used by legit financial institutions. Bitcoin and its kin are being used by launderers and all sorts of illegal industries.

And yes the dollar is a farce thanks to our large trade and budget deficits.

I know many who are buying hard coins. I figure even if I did, when the shit hits the fan, guns would be more important than gold. And I don’t do guns.

Now Ripple is down to $0.41 and changed their name to XRP. WKRP would have been a better name; one wonders how much that will cost them down the road.
