Post subject:  Fast Food Rankings / Preferences

Since the other thread was talking about soda machines, I thought Id start a thread about the current fast food offerings in our country. Trying to stay National here, so no Portillo's mentioned or Steak and Shake. Feel free to add your regional/local estabishments.

Here is my ranking :

1.Wendys - I've always enjoyed their burgers and menu. It's the go to place for me when I need a fast lunch or bite. Dinner is even filling. And the cherry cream soda from the automated coke machines is a must. Their fries are on the weak side, but a single tastes great. The chicken nuggets also taste great. I would rank them as the best chicken nuggets among the competition and their BBQ sauce tastes great.

2.Chick Fil A - yes, I tried it when I was visiting the mainland and had no expectations. It took me a few times to figure it out but when I did, it is so good. I almost thought about ranking it #1 on my list. I went from the deluxe sandwhich which I thought was ok. But someone recommended the simple basic chicken sandwhich and yes, it is prefect. I have not eaten anything else off the menu but this chicken sandwich. And the Chik Fil A yellow source. Damn it's so good spreading it on the chicken sandwich. I dont know what it's made out of, probably really really bad things, but tastes so good. A real surprise entry for me.

3.Burger King - The Whopper is the best burger period. The only problem is many of the Burger Kings I've gone to don't know how to make it right. It's either too cold, missing lettuce, something is off. That's the big thing about the whopper, IT HAS TO BE HOT! But everytime it's cold.
The burger king workers have to be one of the worst in the industry. 9/10 times they're so lazy they screw up the whopper. BUT..when you get a hot juicy whopper, it is the king of burgers. The rest of the menu pretty much sucks at BK.

4.In and Out - I get this when I'm out West and it's hit and miss. When it's made right it's good, but not really all the hype its always cracked up to be.. It's better in Southern California than the other area's its in. Even at it's best, it's still ok.

5.McDonalds - I'm big on Fish Filet now. I just like it. Goes down great. Never been a fan of the big mac. Simple hamburgers are still good. And of course the best fries out there. Nuggets are decent too. Only thing is some days I feel like shit after eating there.

6.5 Guys - I ranked this below MCD, yes I did. The problem is each location makes it different. It tastes like shit one place, ok the other, and decent another place. Even the same place in my experience makes it different on different days. And Very Pricey! Not worth the bang for the buck.

7.Taco Bell - when I get a craving it's good. But all the drive thrus suck ass. They always get your order wrong. If i decide to eat in it's 50/50 these fuckers know how to make the food right.

8.KFC - I sometimes eat here even though I don't like getting my hands dirty and greasy. Bucket Dinner is great, but for lunch, ehhhh.. Sides are good though, cole slaw :)

9.Long John Silvers - this place sucks now. No wonder you can hardly find them.

Please feel free to add or comment.

Burger King is literally the worst fast food in the history of fast food.

I think your list is off. Not to get into a whole fast food vs fast casual debate, but McDonalds and 5 guys aren’t the same thing or catering to the same type of customers.

Chik Fil A is high quality chicken, but after eating there a handful of times, you realize it’s just the same meal over and over.

I was thinking about that maybe it was just the novelty of the idea. A burger place with Chicken! But no, I've went back numerous times and that simple chicken sandwich w/ that chick a fil sauce is really so good.

But it’s just chicken. You can only order a Deluxe Chicken sandwich so many times. Your only other option is just a chicken sandwich plain.

I'll admit to really enjoying Jack in the Box, but I don't really get to the parts of the country where they exist. Which probably is good.

Does Waffle House count in this, because if so, it's high on my list.

Hardee’s/ Carl’s Jr. have to be the worst kept fast food joints. Worse than Burger King. Such shitholes.

Same chicken with lame toppings. Chicken is good though. Service is nice but stupid. If you order just a drink or something, you won’t get it until everyone else (inside and drive thru) get their orders. WTF is that? Just give me a fucking coke! Pleasure me!

Jack in the Box exists solely on its stoner contingent. Food is awful if sober.

Boston Market is probably not considered fast food, but it’s underrated.

I love to pig out at Waffle House. I love those tiny little restaurants.

Very sugary, but sometimes you have earned that. Besides, you know you're a good distance from home when you see a Waffle House. Great place for dialects.

My only complaint about Waffle House is that I've never sat there and ate and thought, "Man, I'd like to nail that waitress," or even, "Yeah, in a pinch, and if I wasn't married with kids, I'd do her."

McDonald's best item is the $1 Large Coke Zero and now for some reason they're scuttling Coke Zero nationwide. I can't believe people still prefer Diet Coke.

How the hell did you think Steak and Shake would be involved in a Fast Food preferences without allowing 100+ choices? Trash food.

Anyways, as the expert, I will provide the definitive list tomorrow. Rookies.

Wendy's is the jack of all trades of fast food. Good at everything, master of none.

McDonald's has best breskfast by a country mile.
Taco Bell has best food when you're fucking trashed.
Burger King is for those people walking along a freeway pushing a kid in a stroller with one hand and popping a Suboxone with the other.

I tried Jack in the Box like 15 years ago and never again. It was terrible.

Is Browns Chicken and Pasta still around? That was some good food and a great menu.

Popeyes crust is too hard for my tastes.

Is Waffle House national? It sounds more southern. Never heard of it really.
