I think the generally accepted number is that anywhere from 30-40% of illegal immigrants come here via airplane. So is it fair to say you would be in favor of immediately eliminating all international flights into the US? It would be a completely effective solution to protect our boarders you are so concerned about. |

Almost all of the data suggests immigrants, regardless of legal status, are less likely to be violent criminals and more likely to contribute to our society in a beneficial way than natural citizens. We became the greatest country on Earth because of our historically liberal immigration policies. It would be a damn shame to change that. |

But I’m a fan of immigrants and I really dislike the process we currently have for approving it legally. We can even get into stories of middle eastern folks who have risked their lives to help us overseas and we still wouldn’t let in afterwards. It’s shameful shit. We need to open up the borders and stop living in fear like so many do now. It’s ironic to me that half the country is afraid of guns and not illegal immigrants, and half the country is scared of illegal immigrants and not guns. Too many people letting fear override their common sense is the biggest problem in this country. The Democrats want illegals because they want their votes. If they can get amnesty passed they can win the White House from now till the end of time. The issue with immigration is that there needs to be assimilation. The other problem is that between abortion and birth control the US American born population would decrease without immigration. There is a lot of misinformation with illegals. There is a lot of crime committed by them that has not been properly documented. It seems okay until someone you know or love gets killed in a DUI by a guy the government has looked the other way on. |
