I didn't quite finish my meteorology degree....but this thing just shifted way north. Seems like there is gonna be a lot of underwhelming totals for the south/western burbs. Then again...SNOW DAY!! |

Late yesterday afternoon I was flipping around to different weather reports on the radio and Skilling was predicting as much as 15". 10" to 12" looks like it was off which makes a prediction of 15" sound ridiculous. |

4-5" in the Orland area. More like 6"-7" in the Melrose Park area. Still coming down at a pretty good clip here in the west burbs. Traffic volume was very light, but the road conditions are not good. |

I was out running calls until about 9 last night. By 8 the roads were really bad in mchenry. At the time about 2 or 3 only so I thought today would be terrifying. I figure a total of maybe 6 or so at the estates. We were predicted to vet 6 to 10 so... I guess they got it right. |
