I don't feel I know enough about Quincy Jones. The article was not as inflammatory as I imagined. Anyone have a good TV documentary or good book(s) that discuss some aspect of this man and his life? He has 3 bodies of work that might be good. Curious if something is out there that is not being sold at his website first. |

QJ is used to working with highly skilled musicians. He was an arranger on Ringo's first solo album, Sentimental Journey. Only time he worked with Ringo and Paul, and Ringo didn't drum a note on it.
