Yeah. All of that happened....some more than once. Because see we actually got out and did something. We had no delusions of grandeur about "making it." We didn't piss and moan and ask for handouts when we didn't "make it," or had trouble finding a drummer or booking shows. We did our thing because it was fun.

And then we got up and went to work on Monday because that is what men do.

Maybe. Music is subjective. A couple things worth noting however... differences between us if you will.

I've never asked anyone to pay me for my soundcloud content.
I have sold hundreds of copies of one piece of content to companies who still use it to this day.
I've had plenty of paying live gigs. I could easily get one any time I like.
I also done several charity live gigs.
My recordings aren't made or mixed on a cell phone.
I've never claimed to have fans or claimed my music to be anything more than a simple hobby that I enjoy as time permits during my real life.
I've never claimed to be a singer. If you listen to those and listen to my voice clearly I'm not a singer. Had to do it when necessary.

There are more but that should be enough for now to get the gist.

you know while i've been hanging out here i've been loading up on more songs/samples/etc cuz like, idk if you guys will believe it, but i had a real job doing painting/construction in october. i had to get up at 4-430 and bus/walk for 2+ hours to get my happy ass out to wood dale and i think that, honestly, once people saw the kind of work ethic i had it was like "ok we don't need him to waste his time here" cuz honestly, dude, you realize that i can destroy any shitty pop rapper in the game, right?

prolly the main reason i'm going through all this deprivation over the last few months = if i was left to my own devices i wouldn't give a fuck about lame ppl but hey make me go beg for my own money that i'm oddly not allowed to have all of a sudden and dumpster dive and go reroll cigarette butts for week/s at a time and hey whaddya know it's like all these shitty actors masquerading as rappers flaunting what i'm suddenly not even allowed to have crumbs of = a personal affront to me. and shit dude, seriously, this guy grew up to become someone who routinely shows off shit like diamond encrusted flip flops meanwhile i can improv like this and i'm being denied just about everything unless i start making mixes and rap songs with regularity. it's fucked up and you know, once there's a touch more of civility i'll get to the written shit and we'll all remember that 2/3 of my fucking name is literally the word apocalypse.
