Ever notice how many shootings we have had in that time (since Columbine), and yet, that was the last one that was really a "team effort".

Why do you think that is?

I'm not really one who believes in coincidence.

Because it's an impulse thing and you won't tell or yourself.

What? Her laughing about it? She said she basically insulted him again after he was firing and that he just went on his way?

I think the odds of a person actually doing something like this of their own accord are infinitesimally small, and I think its pretty naive to believe otherwise, yet now we have been programmed to.

Don't get mad at me because you didn't put much thought into a shitty theory. Did you at least buy the $8k generator?

It saddens me how much more devastating Columbine was to me than yesterday. I’ve become a bit conditioned to school shootings.

Everyone knows exactly who and what Alex Jones is.

I think it is a different breed who tune-in to his behind-the-newsdesk daily summarizations. I am not of that breed.

Just look at the news itself without dwelling too much on any one person's opinion or description of it, or on who dumped it in your lap.

If, after digesting it, you sense bias, investigate that and see if it invalidates any of the provided info.

Pretty simple, actually.

Plus how do you determine the final # in going for the high score? Do you go egalitarian and split it in half or does the duo have to put tallymarks on their arms like they're encountering the penisfingerers in doctor who?

The today show was on TV this morning as I was preparing to leave the house, and to lead off the show Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb went right into an interview with a Junior at Douglas High who was there as it happened, an eyewitness. Guthrie introduced her and mentioned that her best friend had been wounded, and she asked the girl how her friend was doing, and the girl started getting choked up as she told Guthrie her friend had passed away. She started crying, and Guthrie seemed caught off-guard and unsure of where to go with it, so she offered sympathy and then immediately asked this distraught girl to re-live the sequence of events from the shooting. I had a real hard time watching this and was pretty upset that the network even allowed this "interview" to take place. How can they lead off the news with a 16-17 year old girl who just lost her best friend reliving the experience? That interview should have ended the second that girl stated her friend had died, and actually should never have been on at all. She was a kid! Interview an adult who was at the scene, a first responder, a school administrator. The desperation to "re-live" the moment as vividly instead of responsibly reporting on the news story has numbed us all to the point where these stories are sick entertainment, not news. They dragged a fucking kid who just lost her best friend in front of a live newscast and asked her to "walk through" the moment again. How fucked up is THAT? School shootings are ratings gold for these sickos.

I don't know if that's true or not, but it's definitely true that some people wouldn't act alone. I don't believe either Leopold or Loeb would have killed anyone on their own. And the two guys that were the killers from the murder in In Cold Blood, Perry Smith and Dick Hickock, were examined by psychiatrists who came to the conclusion that neither man had the personality of a killer, but when they were together they created a third separate and distinct personality that was capable of murdering the Clutter family.
