We should all apologize for our ancestors being white. What's there not to like?

I spent 20 minutes of my day in a Buc-ee's in Florence SC. Whistler would like their bathrooms. They also have very good salted caramel nuggets and acceptable BBQ turkey for a highway stop.

I don't think there was one person in the store or at the one of the 144 gas pumps who wouldn't have laughed at someone wishing them a Happy Indigenous Peoples Day.

I guess yours is just another odd attempt to prove some type of sympathy for Indigenous people by berating someone else for not caring enough, so maybe should have been rephrased?

There are only two examples of infinity: The universe and human stupidity and I'm not sure about the universe.

It always is, you get the hand wringing sympathy for one group of humans that wandered in from Asia in search of land/resources, settled in areas and began fighting/killing/enslaving other humans they encountered followed by vile and hatred directed towards the next group of humans that sailed in from Europe in search of land/resources and began fighting/killing/enslaving the other humans they encountered.

As they generate more DNA data they are finding that there was a lot of variation in the DNA of the Indigenous peoples, so there were likely waves of differing groups coming in and conquering/killing, so it really becomes more about the ongoing quest of humans to survive and expand and the ability of technologically superior humans to dominate other groups of less technologically advanced humans.

You kind of did though. Your statement/selective judgment can only be understood within the context of an academic cultural Marxist identity hierarchy.

If we remove the hierarchy to which you obviously subscribe, the narrative is no longer white Europeans conducting a genocide on Indigenous People of Color. It's just genocidal people who arrived in North America first being subjected to genocide by people that arrived later.

People being imperfect, maybe nobody should have a holiday named after them.
