That's probably your best bet. Even back in the early 2000's when we visited San Francisco, it was a cesspool. Homeless people sleeping everywhere on the streets, more human shit than dog shit, and so on. My wife really wanted to go to Haight and Ashbury. We took one of the trolleys and this homeless woman came on and just walked down the aisle screaming and spitting on people until this one dude knocked her out cold.

The ones with good insurance and have no relatives there are absolutely thrilled with this. They will not only get a new beach house , the whole town will be brand new in about a year or so. Property values will skyrocket there.

When we were there in May a lot of the properties were very expensive to own let alone rent. Sure some of millionaires will end up in great shape but I remember when a Hurricane wiped out a huge portion of the business districts in Kawaii and it took over ten years to rebuild. In the meantime,the people who worked in the hotels and businesses who were wiped out were really hurt by the loss of their jobs.
